igubal spherical bearings are made from advanced composite plastics containing base polymers for wear resistance, reinforcing fibres for high forces and solid lubricants for smooth, maintenance-free operation. They are resistant to dirt, dust and corrosion, making them suitable for use in liquids and dirty environments. They can also withstand shocks, impacts and edge loads.
Another advantage of igubal spherical bearings is their weight: They are 80% lighter than steel and much quieter than metal bearings. Thanks to the self-lubricating effect, our igubal spherical bearings are 100% lubrication and maintenance-free. This means that they do not require additional lubrication and are therefore particularly resistant to dust and dirt. This significantly reduces maintenance costs and ensures a longer service life for the bearing.
