The igus Apiro rotary linear table is part of the modular drygear Apiro gearbox system, which was developed for flexible and cost-effective automation solutions. Here are some of the main features:

Control systemThe igus Robot Control enables a simple and intuitive robot control and programming, making it easy to get started with automation. The modular design makes it possible to control various igus kinematics, such as delta robots. The gantry robot can be controlled directly with all its advantages using our igus Robot Control.
The free-of-charge, licence-free igus Robot Control software is integrated into the control system and thus makes use of a uniform operating concept and consistent communication services for many components of a system. This entails less project planning effort and faster commissioning.
The igus Robot Control is not a component of the part and can optionally be purchased from us. A master control system is not necessary.
It is also possible to use your own (robot) control system.
Alternatively, it is also possible to operate each axis individually with a control system. For example, with our igus D1 dryve motor control system. With this control architecture, for each you need one motor control and an additional master control system per linear axis, which controls the coordination of the movement. You must then program the inverse kinematics for the delta robot yourself on your development environment.
The motor control systems are not components of the part and can be ordered from us as an option. igus does not offer a master control system at the moment.
